Well it goes something like that. It’s that time of year when most are looking forward to cooler weather, colors on the trees, visits to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. My daughter Ruby said this morning (she’s 9), “Mommy isn’t it funny how in the winter we enjoy it, but then we’re so ready for summer, then in the summer we have fun, then we’re ready for winter”. So true So true, one of the joys of living in Tennessee, we truly have four seasons.
In my world of food I truly look forward to the changes in produce at the local farmers market. We are starting to see pumpkins now. Look for some pumpkin and butternut squash menu items in the near future 🙂
In with the old, Out with the new…NO, that’s backwards, but isn’t that the way you would say it for David, my husband, turning 40 this weekend. We are celebrating with family coming into town for cake and food, of course 🙂
For this next week we are closed. Why, you ask? I have a large catering on Friday that I need to prepare for. I, myself, am only one person…HAHA….sometimes I would swear that there are two of me. From now on when I have a big catering, Debo’s Kitchen will be closed for it’s normal retail business. I’m going to try my hardest to schedule ahead and alternate catering and retail on an every other week schedule. Make since? Do you have any questions? Please contact us at moc.ntesuohairotcivnull@obed We love hearing from y’all. You put the bread and butter on our table…THANK YOU <3
Oh…and I forgot to mention…we are moving soon…but more on that later. Have a fabulous Friday and weekend ahead.
